5 /5 Huberta Liel: Lovely Saturday lunch at Teal by Sally Abé. Starters were inventive, delicious and very beautiful (so excited i forgot to take a photo). i had the crab dish, excellent! for my main i had the venison/deer. the wonderful wine recommendation by the waiter perfectly rounded off this dish , which was stunning. Very satisfying and felt like a really special treat. i cant wait to come back in the evening as this will be a wonderfully romantic spot. the decor is modern but very cosy.

5 /5 TB: I loved following Sally’s journey from first watching her on the great British menu. I had very high hopes and it did not disappoint! It was great to be able to finally taste her food. Firstly the atmosphere is perfect, cosy and welcoming almost like being in your nans front room. This is evident by nobody wanting to leave. Considering the Resturant is so new, service was excellent! The menu is interesting and unique giving a nod to lots of British classics and lesser known dishes. Everything was cooked perfectly, flavours were big and bold and plating was precise but not fussy! Personal standouts were the brawn scotch egg, knife and fork bacon, haunch of deer and the rhubarb jubilee. My partner had the mussels for main and we both thought they weren’t up to the standard of the other dishes. However overall it was a memorable night of eating.
