5 /5 Ceri Burns: We chose to hold my dad’s wake at The Anchor, and from the moment we arrived, we felt completely supported by Paul and his team.
On a day when you just want everything to run smoothly, Paul immediately put us at ease. From the meetings before the wake, nothing was too much trouble. Paul took the time to sit with me and my mum on a couple of occasions to make sure our ideas were listened to and taken into account.
The bar staff were welcoming, and thoughtful towards us and all our guests. So many people commented on what a lovely pub it is, and those who live locally have said they will definitely be visiting again.
We didn’t get to say it on the day, but we’re very grateful for the care and compassion shown to us on such an important and emotional day. Thank you!
