The Berrylands - (Near Kingston upon Thames, South East)

5 /5 Jennifer keane: On Friday 19th September, we held the wake for my dads funeral at the Berrylands in Surbiton. From the first point of contact to the end of the event, the manger, Dean, was excellent. He made the whole procedure easy and trouble-free. The food was the perfect amount, served at the perfect time. The staff were exemplary, friendly and efficient. The entire day went off without a hitch. The room was private, with an outdoor seating area included. We were able to play our own music, and set up a table with flowers and photo books for family and friends to view. A room was available where the flowers could be stored overnight and collected the following day. Nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend this venue for any event.

5 /5 Martin Longhurst: Excellent home prepared meals. Friendly staff and plenty of space to sit. Set in a suburban shopping street, it is handy for the local railway station and bus service. Cask ales are available in well-kept London Pride and Doom Bar.

5 /5 G Charge: We just hosted our daughter’s 1st birthday party in the side room at the pub and couldn’t be happier! Perfect side room to contain all the children and only a few steps from the bar. Left to decorate as we please and bring soft play. Lovely staff and lovely manager Amanda - thank you! Such a gem find in the area xx

5 /5 Andrau: Nice welcoming local pub very close to the train station. Friendly efficient staff, good seating areas and very good food.

5 /5 julie newbold: Came here for a party. Had a brilliant night. Pub seemed like the pubs I knew back in the early 80s, but in a really good way. Staff all very friendly and helpful, prices very fair. Food was supplied for the party, I’ll be honest I’m really not sure who did the catering, but it was all very good, a finger food buffet. There were two bars that I could see, not sure if there are other function rooms. Very near Berrylands station. Parking seemed easy.
