The Blue Olive - (Near Barnet, South East)

4 /5 Peter K: Went for someones birthday celebration with about 30 people. All was organized and prepared fresh. Food kept coming mezze style for sharing. I was too busy eating to take proper pictures.

4 /5 Esen: Tried the fish meze at blue olive and it was great. You get quite a good selection of fish. My favourite items were octopus, swordfish and calamari. I visited when it was relatively empty at around 4pm (pre-dinner rush) and the service was good but service is expectedly slower during busier times, so definitely worth factoring.

5 /5 George Achilleos: Ive eating here many times and the food has always been on point. Ive attended with friends and family and neither have been disappointed. The food always tastes good and there is a variety to choose from. We mainly go for the meze as it has a mixture of dips, fish and meat dishes. The portions are reasonable sized.

4 /5 katia LN: Good intentions and good atmosphere is definitely there. Food took long to come, my seftalies in my mix grill were charcoaled (burnt black) and was only one piece of pork in the corner. Chicken skewer was succulent however blunt. We also took dips and for what they were was definitely overpriced (6 for 17.95). Service lost a star as there was a lot of waiting however all waiting staff were very polite and helpful so maybe the waiting times were due to reasons beyond their control. We did however waited for 30min to get the desert menu or we asked for water twice before arriving. It was also a Greek night with live music and this was great. Everyone had fun and it was very authentic. However, someone started smoking indoors (proper smoking) and it was a bit difficult for us to breath. The smoking situation was not resolved quickly as the smoker was well known to the establishment.
