5 /5 Dan Redfern: Wonderful atmosphere and a busy Tuesday night with the locals playing a home darts match, The wonderful landlady made the most delicious Jamaican chicken dish. I had two portions! Having eaten a lot of Jamaican food in the past, though I’m totally English, I rated last night’s meal as the best Jamaican meal I have ever eaten. Spicy, so very tasty with fruity flavours. I will be back, and thank you so very much.

5 /5 Debbie Evans: Fantastic pub recently taken over by new landlords Tony & Denise. Along with their lovely helpful team of staff they offer a very warm welcome to both old and new customers. Some great improvements to include full redecoration of the inside with new flooring. Outside has a lovely large safe enclosed garden which is great for the kids, grass area replaced with astro turf which looks amazing. Now includes an outside TV screen showing most sports and a covered patio area for smoking. Children and dogs welcome. Inside offers 4 new TV screens and a lovely comfy seating area with sofas and comfy chairs. Regular events to include live Music and regular drink promotions. There is a pool table and a dart board. Open from 12pm, 7 days a week with a late licence till 1am on a Friday and Saturday evening. They plan to offer a food service very soon once all refurbishment is complete . 5 /5 Neil Macdonald: Didn’t actually eat but I’m sure would have been 5 stars too. Really great atmosphere in this diamond of Wallingford nightlife. Service was great. Well priced drinks and a beautiful pint of Amstel. Really friendly staff (Jo and Neil) and proving the world is actually tiny the landlady Jo grew up three miles away from me. We tried three other pubs in Wallingford and none were as good as Green Tree.
