The Gritstone: Cafe, Bar & Pizzeria - (Near Lambeth, South East)

5 /5 Tsunami: Pizza is a nice after climb meal. While the cafe doesn’t have the most inviting lighting/decor, you’d be mistaken to assume that it’s not: the staff here are friendly, and the people who frequent the cafe are regulars who know the staff and each other. The pizzas were great: nice crust must most importantly they were perfectly salted. If I were to nitpick: the ingredients weren’t of the highest quality, but the pizzas are fairly priced so one can’t complain.

5 /5 Samara Hollows: Relaxed, cool atmosphere for a climb and coffee. Also plenty of tables and booths to do some work/admin between climbs. Yummy baked treats too!

5 /5 Raf: Wasn’t aware this establishment is separate to Substation. Easy five stars then, I’ve tried the pizza and coffee which has been both satiating but still wanting more!

5 /5 Romi Mackiewicz: Super friendly community cafe as part of the climbing gym. Only tried the coffee so far but it’s bloody delicious! Great spot to do a bit of work or grab a snack.
