What Clients Are Saying The Grumpy Mole - Cheam (GG)
4 /5 Victoria Morgan: Lovely afternoon tea using a voucher from friends… mixed finger sandwiches were lovely could’ve just done with a little bit more pepper. Fruit scones were warm and delicious.. ample fresh cream and jam..
5 /5 Monika S: We had a lovely time here after my son’s Confirmation. Brilliant food, served quickly, which was a feat considering how busy the place was. All the staff were very friendly and made our experience even better. Emily, the manager, answered all my questions when I was making the booking and ensured we got the prime spot - thank you! Fantastic place that I can definitely recommend x
5 /5 CJ88: A great place in the village, meet up with some friends and stayed here having wine and good food. I had the scallops and lamb, highly recommended.
5 /5 Anne Sophia: Absolutely delicious vegan nut roast. Also loved my vegan chocolate cake (see pics). Would highly recommend both dishes. Great value too. Keen to come back to try the vegan Quorn chicken burger. The only thing I’d change about my roast was the gravy - more thought might go into it to improve the flavour and texture. A vegan Yorkshire pudding is always welcomed. Nevertheless it was still delicious and I would order it again! I’ve also left a positive review on Happy Cow (free vegan restaurant app).
4 /5 Vivian Tan: Had roast for 4 of us - Lamb and beef roast slightly over, chicken decent and soft, vege well flavoured, potato not crispy on the outside, good gravy.
Love the quaint environment, perfect for brunch and lunch chit chat. Fast and polite but youll have to chase them for things cause they seem understaffed.
Brian Delaney We were spooned, its one of the best places to go. The drinks are very reasonable. Thinking that we should absolutely reasonable truth. The foods fine, you get what you pay for.

David Ashton Really friendly service! Had the avocado and poached egg baguette, tasted soooo nice. Place is very clean and has more of a restaurant feel than a cafe but with a more personal friendly service. Oh yeah and make sure to have some of the cake, Chocolate cake was delicious.
Martin Kimber Absolutely outstanding food. Well on par with far more expensive equivalents in central London. The staff were very hospitable too. The beer was slightly expensive for the area and maybe one or two too many kids (not the restaurant’s fault), but great atmosphere and decor. A stand out gem in Cheam, highly recommend. Also nice that it IS dog friendly (something they could do a better job of advertising).
Vanessa Lovely place to meet friends or have a drink and dinner/lunch. Everyone is welcome and so friendly. The food is great and the portions are generous. The Turkish red wine is so good. The cocktails were amazing. We ordered the mixed grill , came with a salad and had lovely starters. The calamari was delicious and the olives too. The food came out in good time and we didnt feel rushed. Parking can be difficult around the side roads but the road opposite seemed to be the best and no charge. Definitely worth visiting.
