Amazing food and staff are brilliantly accommodating, will recommend anything on the menu, prices are on a bit of upper side but you will taste the quality of the ingredients . Wish they had better selection of beers/ales as when we visited most of the ales were finished. Would recommend to book in advance as the place gets pretty busy. But staff are very friendly and i am sure they will try to accommodate you if you just walk in.

Attentive service without being intrusive. Really enjoyed my lunchtime visit and could quite happily have sat there all afternoon! Highly recommend - thank you!!

5 /5 Review193: Lovely pub with great food and atmosphere! Stopped in at The Gun Inn and tried the pie and chips, absolutely delicious! The pie was tasty and full of flavour, with perfectly crisp pastry, and the chips were good. It’s a proper comfort meal done really well. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the pub itself has a nice, relaxed atmosphere, a great place to sit back and enjoy a meal. Service was a little on the slow side, and there was a bit of a wait for the food, but it was worth it once it arrived. All in all, a lovely visit and I’d definitely go back again.

5 /5 Beki: A beautiful local venue. We went as a group of 4 for Sunday lunch and I was extremely impressed. There is a great selection of starters, roasts and desserts as well as specials that were shared with us by our server. Every member of our group had a different roast - beef, lamb, chicken, nut - and all were delicious. The roasts come with roast potatoes, a variety of different veg and different accompaniments. I had the chicken which came with stuffing and was very good. We also tried a selection of different wines across our group all of which were well received. Friendly staff, efficient service and delicious food: whats not to love?

3 /5 Stephen oakes: We thought we had a reservation for Sunday Lunch but had actually booked online via another pubs website. Our fault but the found us a table....thank you! Choice on a Sunday is limited I would say with roasts the only option. 3 of us chose beef. When it arrived it was pretty rare which was not to our taste (my Sons dog enjoyed it later though). We were not made aware of this when ordering. The rest of the meal was OK. Excellent roast potatoes and gravy but the rest of the veg was disappointing. Food was not very hot when it arrived. 2 of us had a cheese board which was nice but some butter for the crackers would have been good. 2 people chose hot puddings. Disappointing that both arrived with ice cream. They were not told when ordering that you had to specify that you wanted it with custard. The table was very sticky with old beer spillage and I would say that the whole place looked like it needed a good clean and dust. For the money paid Im afraid it was all very disappointing. Sorry.
