5 /5 David Humphrey: My wife and I stayed her for two nights in October. The floor boards were creaky. The floor was not flat. The roof was low in places. The furniture was old and distressed. The stairs were steep. The rooms were quirky. But we loved it ! Great in room breakfast. More than enough. May stay again. Thanks.

5 /5 Polina Simakova: We had an absolutely incredible break here this weekend, the best we’ve had in years. I drove to the location late at night on a Friday, so finding the house initially was a little nerve-racking, but that was due to my own inexperience (parking, too, is a little tricky but the instructions provided are very detailed and helpful). Once we found the property (we stayed at No8 in room 2), we had an absolute blast — many thanks to Simon for all help and guidance and a great stay. Before the room, I have to give a shout-out to the breakfast and the refreshments provided, the chocolate truffles are some of the best I’ve had in my life (I don’t even love truffles, but these were irresistible). The overnight oats pot is also great and so delicious. A lovely breakfast, but the chocolates are just next level. The room is gorgeous, has the atmosphere and facilities of a 5-star hotel (better than most of those, frankly). The bath, shower, fluffy mats and the heated floors, as well as the lighting, were to die for, and it was great to have an armchair in the bathroom to be able to sit and talk. We will most definitely be back and had an absolutely great time.

4 /5 Timothy Sanderson: The room has all the character you would expect from a building built in the 1600s. The bed is comfortable and the continental breakfast in the room is very varied.

4 /5 Heidi Lau: Decided to have a short weekend away and really enjoyed our stay here. Great location, really close to Marlborough high street! Room 3 was comfortable and cosy, the in-room continental breakfast was delicious and we really enjoyed it. Great communication from the owners, had a very smooth check in process. Toilet had a slight smell, could be the plumbing? But was overall fine in the room as we kept the door shut. Had a really good stay in general and we will 100% be back if were in the area again!
