The Lamb At Angmering - (Near , South East)

5 /5 Mark Townsend: 4 of us went to The Lamb for Sunday lunch and were so glad we did. We all had the roasts and they were exceptional. Service was welcoming and friendly, as was the pub. Lovely atmosphere but not over busy. The car park was full but it was easy to park nearby on the street. I would definitely recommend this location and will visit again.

5 /5 marianne Williams: We are regulars at the lamb in Angmering and decided to hire the venue for my daughter‘s wedding as she wanted a very small intimate occasion. We had just 40 guests. After a beautiful candlelight ceremony in Arundel Town Hall. We then moved onto the lamb in Angmering for a candlelight supper. As per usual the staff excelled themselves from the Manager to the chef, to all the waiting staff, a real credit to the Newbon family, they were absolutely fantastic. The staff went above and beyond and decorated the room beautifully. They served absolutely wonderful food and made the whole evening memorable. It was so relaxed. The rooms were impeccable the breakfast was exquisite. I couldn’t recommend more highly.

1 /5 Sally Ward: Glad the high majority of diners enjoying their meal - I chose Welsh rarebit which was horribly mixed with an unpleasant grainy mustard which gave a stodgy vinigary taste, also very over-grilled, very small portion (2 small thinly cut pieces of bread) and left me cheesed off at £10.95. So don’t choose that ! To be honest I felt punished for ordering it!

5 /5 Jonny Townsend: Ate at the restaurant only, didnt stay. Some of the best food I have ever eaten, I would highly recommend not skipping the starter, phenomenal breaded goats cheese as pictured. Steak delicious too with good coffee afterwards. Incredibly friendly staff and helpful. Very good about allergens too, specifically gluten, several options, helpful staff, gluten free bread avaliable and other adjustments e.g. jus for peppercorn sauce.

5 /5 Clive Goddard: The Lamb at Angmering - top notch We were a party of 15 family members for the annual get-togther. A list of choices was submitted a few days beforehand. Excellent menu and the food was amongst the best we have experienced in a pub. The service was first class and nothing was too much trouble for our very efficient staff - our thanks to all. We will be back. More than happy to reccommend.
