5 /5 Gareth Taylor: After a slightly windswept walk to the castle we were in need of a bite to eat and some refreshing drinks. The Lighthouse offers dining inside and out so was perfect for us.
Our server was very polite and friendly.
We just shared some “dirty fries” as we were planning to go out for dinner a few hours later, I have to say they were excellent, so good I almost ordered another portion!!!!
Our overall impression was far better than expected, sometimes these places can be left to become a little run-down, rough around the edges with poor service but no, I’m pleased to report it’s the total opposite!
I’d definitely recommend this place. They even have a take-away hatch on the side and offer water for your dog, nice touch.
A large public car park very close by which we used, or they have their own next to the entrance for customers only.
