1 /5 D. G: Absolutely terrible experience.
We were left waiting in line for at least 45 minutes, if not longer. When we first asked, we were told the wait would be “around 15 minutes”, which clearly wasn’t true. Standing outside that long for a pub in Zone 2 is honestly ridiculous.
The bouncers were extremely rude and completely unhelpful. Instead of managing the queue professionally, they were shouting at people to stay quiet because of the residents living above. It honestly felt like being treated like schoolchildren rather than paying customers.
When I asked to speak to the manager, I was told that the bouncer was the manager. Unsurprisingly, he refused to help and became even more rude and dismissive.
To make things worse, several people were allowed to skip the queue because they were apparently “VIPs”. Many of them looked around 18 and some were even leaving the club vomiting right at the entrance.
Overall, a truly awful experience. One of the worst clubs I’ve dealt with in London and the irony is that after all that waiting, we didn’t even manage to get inside.
