The Marlow Donkey - (Near Berkshire, South East)

5 /5 Mia Willis: Was so good! Friendly and happy staff even on a Saturday night. Came for drinks and stayed for food which was just what we needed to go with their great cocktails. Joe behind the bar was great and didn’t bat an eye when we ordered several different cocktails and made them with a smile. Will defo be back!

4 /5 Antony Berrows: Im not a pub person. Not many left to choose from nowadays anyway. Though had a gathering at the donkey in Marlow. A thoroughly pleasant pub. Nice staff. Nice food...theyd done a buffet but you can also sit down and dine. The place has different areas to sit so is perfect for groups having a good drink or those wanting a quiet area. Plenty of sky football going on too with at least 2 screens but there could be more. Large beer garden at the rear and a small one in the front. Im a wheelchair user and I got around ok although I didnt check out the toilets. Friendly staff. Certainly worth a visit. The only downside is parking. Forget the pub car park it is tiny and mostly reserved for electric cars. The surrounding streets are peppered with double yellow lines but try the side roads, I eventually found somewhere.

4 /5 H: I visited The Marlow Donkey on a Saturday evening when staying nearby. There was a group of 4 of us for dinner. We were told we would need to order soon as the kitchen would close. We ordered burgers which took around 30 minutes to arrive. The burger was really tasty but the chips seemed a little under done as they werent very crispy. The biscoff cheesecake was nice. The bar was busy but staff were friendly and efficient so we didnt have to wait long before getting our drinks. The outside areas were full as noone had chosen to sit inside. However, it seemed the management were expecting a bigger crowd as there was a dj playing extremely loud music and had moved tables to form a dance floor. It wasnt the atmosphere we were looking for so we left as soon as we had eaten.
