The Met - (Near , South East)

5 /5 ashley W: Superb. We have spent the best part of a week in The Met. From sitting outside in the sun drinking beers, cocktails and wines through to coffees ice creams and dinners. The food has been amazing. The variety really thoughtful and the flavours really enjoyable. We have had 3 dinners here and they have all been good (see pictures) the deserts were great too. Salted caramel espresso martinis and the Ales sitting outside people watching all day then at 6pm inside for dinner. The staff are amazing and helpful friendly chatty and knowledgable. A true gem down on the beach front. Really enjoyable inside and out. A must if down in Ventnor either for a quick drink or dinner. Oh true olives too.

5 /5 Cameron Rogers: We stumbled upon this place for lunch whilst exploring Ventnor. We always browse menus everywhere before deciding and the small plates seemed too good to ignore. Couldn’t be happier with our decision. We had a beautiful outdoor view of the sea, service was great and the food was surprisingly good. We expected it to be good but it exceeded expectations!

4 /5 Gail: Nice cafe bar, looks like a great choice of wines and alcoholic drinks. Cakes were delicious, although you have to wait for the scones whilst they heat them up( but well worth the wait!) Clean establishment, and the tapas being served to others looked good.

5 /5 Carla Jackson: Food was fabulous, 2nd time visiting for the french onion soup, was as good as the first time and the loaded roast potatoes were to die for!! 100% recommend !!!

4 /5 Mark Harrison: This is a “Tapas” bar cum restaurant and bar. It was advertising clam chowder when we walked past and looked welcoming so was a no brainer. The staff were friendly and helpful but the p;ace probably needed another server given how busy it was. Otherwise, the chowder with generous helpings of crusty bread and butter was gorgeous. Wine and beer choices a little limited for such a popular establishment. Would definitely go there again if in the area.
