5 /5 Holly: We had a lovely meal at the pepper tree! It was our first time visiting and the service was so friendly, I can also highly recommend the chicken and prawn curry. Portion sizes were huge, food was delicious and packed with flavour, and anything we didn’t eat we were able to take home with us. We received complementary hazelnut liqueur (literally just because!) which was just SO good, thank you to the owner for that. He was delightful! The brownie is also fantastic, just incredible food for a reasonable price. I’d also like to say thank you from me and my girlfriends to the staff who very professionally, quickly and kindly aided us when a group of men started grossly hitting on us (which was entirely out of their control and unexpected!). Their attentiveness was amazing, and they quickly moved us and helped us feel safe in the restaurant again. Just lovely all around. The only thing we didn’t realise is that some of the curries don’t come with rice, so be sure to read the menu more thoroughly than we did haha. Thank you The Pepper Tree! We will be back :)

1 /5 Roger Sullivan: The most tasteless Thai food I ever had in my life. Pad Thai with chicken had 0 chicken in it and 0 flavour. I guess they never heard that it is cooked with tamarind sauce. Laksa was not much better. Don’t waste your money - really not worth even if on offer.

The food, ambience and staff - Kate & Raju were brilliant. Super tasty food. The lunch-time deals are so good. Excellent service. Thanks. I don’t mind the travel from North London.

Every dish is bursting with flavour, beautifully presented, and prepared with such care that it’s clear the chefs are truly exceptional at what they do. I find myself coming here almost every lunch break because nothing else compares. Leo is an incredible waiter whose warm, genuine personality makes every visit feel special. She takes true pleasure in providing divine service and hospitality, and it shows in every interaction. She brings happiness and positivity to everyone around her, making the dining experience even more memorable. Agata is equally wonderful, her joyful heart, smile and energy lights up the entire venue. Liam’s attention to detail, warm hospitality, and passion made the afternoon unforgettable. A true five-star dining experience from start to finish. The prices are amazing for the quality and portion sizes offered. The value is unbeatable, and the overall experience is simply five-star perfection. I’m truly blown away and deeply grateful to have met such extraordinary waiters and talented chefs. Thank you.
