5 /5 Wolf Vos: I went here because it is right next to the Thames and quite close to my b&b. I had no idea it was vegetarian & vegan restaurant. I can highly recommend this place as the food was delicious. This is a must try if you find yourself in Oxford. Also for the omnivores among us.

5 /5 Harry Cookson: This pub has a pleasant spot in central Oxford by the river, and its reputation for good plant-based and vegetarian food is well-earned. I am neither vegetarian nor vegan myself, but dishes such as the blue cheese gnocchi, the hummus, the celeriac steak and the sticky toffee pudding made for a very complete menu - and all were hearty and tasty plates. The cocktails we ordered were also very tasty, and service/atmosphere was good, leading to an overall lovely evening. The prices sit slightly above the average pub food, but I do think the extra value is quite apparent.

5 /5 Alexa Cappelli: This place was SOOO good! My friend and I came during happy hour and got two drinks each, and then each ordered the 2 course deal and we split one starter, two entrees, and one dessert. All so tasty! Our server Hugo was very accommodating and Callum came to check in on us too. We got the tofu salad, the butternut squash lentil dish, the tofu satay, and the berry apple crumble! 10/10!

5 /5 GJTJ: A true gem in Oxford. Stumbled across the Punter as it was close to our hotel and we have been amazed by the place the food and the team. Even if you are not vegetarian/vegan you need to try this exquisite cuisine, turning classics into a new discovery for your palate. Special shout out to the scotch egg and the goats cheese arancino (we went back for a second serving as they were so good). The team was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We recommend highly The Punter. We will be back on our next trip to Oxford!
