Emma We pulled into the large car park, greeted by friendly staff. The tables are a decent size, which is a rarity nowadays. The children had lasagne, I had fish and chips and my husband has a burger. Portions are large but very tasty! The puddings come in regular or small sizes, in future I would go small, the regular were huge. We would definitely go back here and highly recommend.

Ben Davies I arranged a private lunch for 20 guests and it couldn’t have gone better. From the first enquiry, the team were organised, responsive, and incredibly helpful with all the planning details. On the day, the room looked lovely, the service ran smoothly, and the food was absolutely delicious fresh, seasonal, and great value. My guests were so impressed. George Anderson Excellent pub, great British food done well. Great pint of Harvey’s and wonderful atmosphere. Exactly what was needed after a day walking in the South Downs. Was only in the area for a couple days but would make effort to revisit in the future.

Damey8679 Went for a few drinks in the bar area which was a lovely atmosphere, very cosy. Then we went and sat in the restaurant area for food. We know Cheffie from the Farmers, so knew the food would be amazing and he didnt disappoint. The pork belly with dauphinoise potatoes on the specials was incredible. Starters and desserts were delicious also. In addition the staff were so lovely and friendly and made us feel so welcome. Shout out to Lucy. Will definitely be going back soon.
