The Riverside - (Near Lambeth, South East)

2 /5 Yasmin Dummett: I am disappointed with the food that I had on my visit; I came here for my birthday celebration and pre-ordered some food platters to have for the large group of people I had attending (around 30). The nachos were £42 and the chicken wings were £36 which I thought was expensive but potentially worth it to cater for the amount of people I had. I was really disappointed in the food that arrived which was x2 portions of what is photographed here. For the money paid I thought the portion size and the quality was going to be much better than this (particularly with the nachos) which is a shame as the venue itself is lovely and I’ve been here for food before and did enjoy the meal. I tried to raise my concerns with the staff on the day and felt I wasn’t really taken seriously and was just told this is what the offer is.

5 /5 Santiago Mc Cormick: Hands down the best pub on the south side of the river, right by Vauxhall Bridge! The views are absolutely stunning, especially at sunset. The food was delicious (proper pub classics done really well) and the whole team made us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in. Big shoutout to Nachi who served us — she was so attentive and friendly

5 /5 James Valentine: I had a great time at the Riverside the other night. Was served by a really friendly barman called Curtis, very welcoming. Foods decent too and I wasnt waiting too long. Will definitely visit again

3 /5 Nive Raitz von Frentz: 3.5 stars. Quieter than the South Bank, so that was nice, we had the place almost to ourselves during our late lunch. My fish pie was more potato than fish, but the lemon tart was very good. Cider on tap too.

4 /5 Vadim Sorokin: Very nice place with delicious food and a great view of the river. On weekends it gets very crowded, booking in advance is absolutely useless - We booked a table inside, but they moved us to the street terrace, where a lot of people smoke hookahs - this spoils the atmosphere a little. Otherwise - I recommend it.
