5 /5 Sharon Keeling: Came to eat at the restaurant the starters were insane the onion Bahji especially, we also had meat samosa, popodum and dips then pila rice and prawn curry ( slightly spicy but nice :) and chicken kormas nam bread and Bombay potatoes the whole experience was lovely restaurant could not do more for us, especially Ash our waiter and the manager, no rushing very comfortable, would happily go again and recommend. As a local I was very pleased. Thank you .

5 /5 Elaine Vann: Had a meal in the Spice Garden yesterday evening. Food was excellent and we were served by Ash who was very knowledgable of the menu. We had popodums and dips (which were topped up) sag aloo, onion bhajis, chicken tikka biryani, chicken tikka dhanshak with rice and garlic naan An extremely relaxing evening and Ash made us feel very comfortable and welcome. Happy to recommend and will visit again.

We visited on a Sunday evening and had the place to ourselves—likely because it was the last day of half-term—but the attentive service from the sole staff member made us feel welcome throughout. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish full of flavor, and we were delighted with the complimentary papadums and chutneys. The ambiance is cozy and comfortable, perfect for both families and small groups. The location is extremely convenient, just a 2–3 minute walk to roadside parking (paid Mon–Sat until 6:30 pm) and with additional parking options nearby. Elm Park Underground is only 5 minutes on foot, making it easily accessible. Overall, this restaurant combines excellent food, friendly service, and a great location—highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Indian cuisine in the area.

5 /5 Paul Seddon: We visited for Valentine’s Day and had a fantastic experience. Ash, the owner, was very friendly and professional and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. The food and service were faultless. The dishes reminded us of how Indian food used to be cooked 30 years ago – authentic, full of flavour, and without the modern twists you often find nowadays. The Saag Paneer was a standout, made with proper paneer cheese which is something many restaurants seem to skip these days. It was great to taste such an authentic version of the dish. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for traditional Indian food and great hospitality.
