5 /5 Zeeno: Came on a Tuesday night where they have a great: 2 Burger meals for £25 deal. Otherwise was rather pricey as pubs go. Burgers were very nicely seasoned and fairly generous portions. Garden was clean and well looked after. Staff friendly. All around, a good experience.

5 /5 Dean Stephens: Been meaning to try out the dining here for a while. Well, the Sunday roast was quite frankly one of the best I’ve ever had. Gutted I hadn’t come here sooner. Not the cheapest but good quality food. I went for the greedy man special with every type of meat and all the trimmings. All the meats were cooked to perfection and a generous serving of sides. The staff are super helpful and attentive. Truly outstanding. My new roast go to. Well done.

4 /5 Deb Ludford: Lovely pub. Huge outdoor area with seating area, play area and playing field. The waiter was really nice, managing quite a busy lunchtime mainly alone. We ordered the sourdough baguettes which were well presented and came with a lovely side salad and chips. My only grumble was that it was quite cold in the building and I ate with my coat on.

4 /5 Jan Whitcomb: Came up from Petersfield having heard the roast dinners were good and sealed the deal with the recent review, booking on line the day before. Cant fault the food quality, size of the standard roast dinner and on a plate that allows you to cut food/ explore your veg without it falling off the plate! The meat was tender enough to eat, no steak knives needed! I would say the veg was enough choice carrot,broccoli red cabbage parsnip green cabbage and mashed suede with our choices to remove one from each of our plates, so as not to waste food , accomodated . We did note from our neighbours they had a side order of cauliflower cheese so we asked and there was plenty for 2 of us to share. I didnt notice this on the menu though? The piece de resistance" was the gravy, delicious accompaniament and extra was asked for and provided no problem. Special mention given to the chef re our enjoyment of the meal, particularly the gravy! Puddings of profiteroles and Belgian biscofi waffle, with coffees, rounded off an enjoyable meal. Good quality food and equally good customer service and I would have no problem referring onwards. Im keen to try that gravy on another meal, just to check its still as good, of course!!!!

5 /5 RYAN: What a little gem! I wish I lived closer to have this place as my local pub. As soon as I walked in the bar manager greeted me politely, professionally and engaged in such a positive way that I felt at home immediately. The clientele there was friendly too, with cheerful banter being bounced between the group and bar staff. The food (I wish of taken a photo now) came out rapidly, looking restaurant standard amazing and piping hot. I highly recommend the pork belly, mash and delicious black pudding. I devoured it in minutes, then polished off the meal with an excellent homemade bread and butter pudding, all washed down with a decent pint of Guinness. I shall definitely be back the next time Im in the area and Ill be bringing my team. Highly recommend pub to visit and even worth a detour. Thank you again for lovely meal and pleasantly relaxed atmosphere.
