The Swan - (Near , South East)

2 /5 Peter Murphy: Bright, soulless bar with slot machines and large TVs. Friendly service and Guinness wasnt bad, plus the Nepalese food looked nice.

5 /5 Brenda Roberts: We only had one nights stay here at the Swan, but the welcome was outstanding,Very comfortable bed and room. Tea & coffee provided. Really lovely and fresh and extremely clean. I would stay there again. In fact my grandson who was one of the party wants to go back and eat there with family.

2 /5 John Winstanley: The service was fine but I just didnt like the place, sorry Edit: the Swan replied to my review telling me to stay at home because I dont like anywhere. I give plenty of 4 and 5 star reviews, so this simply confirms my initial review, the Swan is simply not my sort of place. For comparison I gave the Cross Keys in the same village 4 stars. I know where my custom will be going in future.

5 /5 Steven Ralph: The Swan Gurkha Kitchen is fantastic. We had dinner there 2 Sundays running and both were delicious. Beautifully cooked food and lovely staff. We had a varied order from the menu and all was spot on. A lovely dining experience. Fully recommended

5 /5 Becky Oddy: Fantastic friendly country pub. Excellent home cooked traditional pub food. B&B rooms were clean, well decorated and really well equipped, even with a mini fridge. Family and dog friendly. Tara and Mark go the extra mile to make sure everyone has what they need. Specials were amazing, I had curried goat one evening and spinach and mushroom cannelloni the next. Portions sizes are really good and meals are made fresh to order. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely be returning for another stay soon!
