5 /5 Dai Tree: An extraordinary, simple but smart pub and kitchen tucked away down Mitre street in the heart of the city. Great beer with plenty of choice for us "lager louts" and Pride +Olivers available for the "Cask boys". Wonderful service and a jolly disposition from the staff. I love the deep emerald green tiles and wood adorning the place, a real marker for a London pub. A huge "Gin Palace" downstairs, ready for a party. It all looks wonderful. Love the tip to sailing with the nautical flags on the stairs. It all made me smile!

2 /5 Victoria Robson: Sadly not what we were expecting. Walked in after seeing some glowing reviews to find one poor girl serving and taking orders and one person behind the bar. We ended up waiting nearly an hour for food, which we tried to understand as it was busy. Sadly the orders werent put through and when we queried timescales we were told of the error, but that the system changed and the menu. When one persons order came out but the other 6 didnt, we queried again, understanding it is busy and they seemed very short staffed. We asked what was going to be done, maybe some drinks on the house for waiting or money off the bill, we were met with just "no". We asked to speak to the manager and were told there wasnt one. Eventually the other orders came bar one, some warmer than others. Again we asked what seems to be the issue but were met with a lack of answers. It was such a shame as we came for a team dinner after seeing the good reviews but the poor staff just seemed very overrun which has caused a poor customer experience. Hopefully this was a one off, but nonetheless it wasnt a good dining experience.

4 /5 David Simkins: Very smart City pub selling Fullers ales, craft beers, premium lagers, and good food. Also a spacious ‘Gin Palace’ downstairs. All staff were really friendly and efficient, with glasses collected and tables wiped as soon as people left. A quality venue in a great location.

5 /5 G R.: We chose this place randomly on google maps, and boy, I am so glad that we did. Irina took a great care of us, making us feel welcome. They have extensive drink menu and small plates but also entrees making it perfect place for any occasion or gathering. They have separate room for private parties as well. The atmosphere is so elevated with distinct character. Food was top notch, we had calamari, hummus with olives, chicken wings, beef sandwich, burger and linguini pasta. Loved everything, absolutely superb. Highly recommended!!!

1 /5 Ellie Evans: If there was the option to put no stars I would. From the outside this looks like it should be a lovely london pub. It isnt. Awful service. 2 staff on no manager in and they couldnt care less about the service they provided. An hour wait for food which would have been fine if we had been told at the time ordering. 1 meal came out and half an hour later the 5 others hadnt come out. We had to ask where they were. Refused to provide complimentary drinks whilst we waited. Staff didnt seem to think there was a problem with not serving all the meals at the same time. In fact they smirked and seemed to find it amusing. Asked to speak to the manager there wasnt one in. Anzil is possibly the rudest most obnoxious member of bar staff/ waiting staff Ive ever met. The meal I was served was not what I ordered. Should have been a steak and ale pie but was actually some sort of meat and mushrooms and caramelised onion. They also didnt ask or check about allergies. Waiting staff cleared plates into bins and then didnt wash their hands before serving fresh meals. Disgusting. Disgrace to the Fullers brand, please send your staff on customer service training! *********" To add further to this as you cannot reply to comments left. There is nothing abusive about describing a poor customer service experience as rude. Nobody on this table was aggressive, or swore or behaved in a manner that could be deemed abusive. Dissatisfaction was expressed because of poor service being received. We even told the waitress we didnt blame them we just wanted the poor service addressing as one member of our party had finished their meal before others had received theirs. All meals were not served within 25 minutes of being ordered If the staff provided attentive service please explain why they hadnt noticed that the majority of the party hadnt received their food and did nothing to address it until we raised it? Why did we have to ask for cutlery to eat our meals with? Why did they not ask if we were ready for the bill?
