Rittick Talukdar One of those places where if you know, you know. The scallops wrapped in bacon was just perfectly cooked! Excellent fish pie. Oysters were fresh. The wine list is great. Perfect for a quick nice afternoon meal! Make sure you come early or you wont get a seat. And whatever you do, dont miss the sticky toffee pudding! One of the best Ive had recently.

Merrill Humphries On arrival a bit quiet but I visited on a Saturday however this picked up during my time at the restaurant. Great food & wine choice. Food was extremely tasty. Service was excellent.

The service was amazing. The staff were attentive, courteous, and highly professional. A special mention and heartfelt thanks to Sahaj Pal for his excellent coordination and hospitality. He made sure every detail was handled smoothly and went above and beyond to make the evening special for us. It was truly a memorable celebration, and we highly recommend Taka Tak Hounslow for private events, family gatherings, or any special occasion. We will definitely be coming back again!

Shiv - Pure joy on a plate – no exaggeration! The food here was one of the highlights of my stay in Oxford. As a vegan it’s so hard getting a decent meal in a casual setting but this place is like an oasis. I was practically salivating watching the person in front of me having their order made. The guy serving (seemed like owner/manager?) was so lovely and let me select a bit of everything. Food was 10/10 for freshness, flavour, nutrition and variety. The pics speak for themselves, and what is shown only cost me £10 odd (including kombucha), which is a steal for sitting in eating such wholesome food. Falafel was also top notch. I got spicy sauce but could’ve tolerated more heat, though didn’t miss anything because the flavours were POW. Overall, if I lived here I’d probably be in this place several times a week. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the chef was also super friendly. Keep up the magic, CHICK PEA. you’ve got something special here.
