5 /5 Ranger Michael J “Bulldog”: Of the years of going to Canterbury, Ive never been in here. Now thats where we head! We always went in to the other wetherspoons at the top of the city. We head for Canterbury quite a bit & always start with a breakfast. The west gate is smaller, but much more friendly. Theres less "hustle & bustle" too. Although the food is similar, Ive noticed its hotter? A really nice little Spoons in our mind.

4 /5 Darren: The place is So cosy and such a homely feel to this venue. Plates and the furniture definitely a blast from the past. A lovely building and a relaxing atmosphere. My Sons and myself had the Mixed Grills and they were very nice indeed, super tasty and so filling. Staff seemed friendly, polite and no long waiting times. Parking available opposite the building, so you don’t have to walk far. Recommended if you like Mixed Grills but that’s the only meal I’ve had a few times.

4 /5 Shaun Maloney: This is a great place for breakfast. Staff are really friendly and efficient. Food, although not top quality, is definitely value for money. There are many places that charge a lot more for the same or worse. Grab a seat by the window so that you can people watch too. Highly recommended.

5 /5 Old Goat: A comfy pub with reasonably priced food and very good service. We went on curry day when a curry and a pint was £9.99 per person. Superb value for a tasty meal and a pint of beer.
