Matthew Burdett The food is good quality at an affordable price. The full English breakfast was cooked near perfect. Bacon was a bit dry but otherwise fantastic for ÂŁ6.99. Coffee is nearing overpriced at ÂŁ3 for a latte.

Davis Betanc El Rincón is a wonderful restaurant with a warm, familiar atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. It’s a quiet and relaxing place to enjoy a delicious meal, perfect for anyone looking to unwind while eating well. The food is flavorful and satisfying, the prices are very reasonable, and the service is genuinely exceptional. The staff make you feel welcomed and taken care of throughout your visit. Highly recommended if you’re looking for great food, great value, and a friendly environment!

Shamrock CAFE - Islington

Michel Leclercq A small East African restaurant specializing in Ethiopian and Eritrean cuisine. No need to fly; the journey is in the welcome, the decor, the food, and even the typical Ethiopian coffee. The cuisine is naturally very spicy, but dishes can be prepared milder upon request. The menu is varied, featuring only authentic recipes brought back from Addis Ababa by Chef Matiyas. And all at incredibly low prices. A must-try, a guaranteed good time for couples, families, or groups. Bonus: an adjoining room for banquets or events.

Ali Haidar Ontor One of the best places to eat around Holloway Road, especially if you’re studying at London Metropolitan University. The staff are genuinely helpful and guide you through the menu, and you can even request your food just the way you like it. The place is clean, cosy, and perfect for a quick meal or a relaxed break between classes.

MADDOGLEP I think this must be fairly new as I have no recollection of this pub / restaurant. Thomas Paine has strong local connections, unlike Casta and Madge. He helped inspire the American revolutionary war and almost lost his head in the French one. Silly so and so. I had another Harveys Sussex best bitter. One of three real ales on my visit. Very good. Up steep stairs finds a roof terrace. Must be lovely on a warm sunny day / evening. Free wifi.

Emmeline Williamson Regularly order here, food is great and has a very small wait time on weekdays. Can sometimes wait longer than told on weekends, but staff are always friendly, will continue to order!
