Tz Peri Peri - (Near Redbridge, South East)

3 /5 Mo Rafi: Visited this food place whilst I was staying in a nearby hotel in Chigwell and decided to try their food. I ordered the Buttermilk tenders with a side of spicy rice. Also ordered couple of chicken Skewers in Mexican and Lebanese flavours and an Oreo milkshake. Tenders were lovely and flavoursome and I really loved them. However, Chicken Skewers were a total disappointment ie too bland, extremely dry and lacked any flavour so avoid them at all costs. Milkshake was yummy. Customer services was great and shop assistant was polite, professional and friendly.

5 /5 East Land& Construction LTD: I had an excellent experience at TZ Peri Peri and felt it deserved a detailed review. Every time we visit, the quality of the food and the service makes it worth the trip. We usually travel all the way from Gidea Park just to eat here, which says a lot about how good the place is. On this visit, we ordered burgers and a full chicken, and everything was absolutely fantastic. The burgers were fresh, juicy, and full of flavour, while the chicken was perfectly cooked with that delicious peri peri taste. You can really tell that they use fresh ingredients and take care in preparing the food. One thing that always stands out to me is how clean and well-maintained the TZ peri peri is. The environment feels comfortable and welcoming, and it’s clear that hygiene and quality are taken seriously. The customer service is also outstanding. The staff are always very polite, friendly, and professional. They make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in, and they are happy to help with anything you need. Overall, TZ Peri Peri is one of the best places for burgers and peri peri chicken in the area. The food quality is consistently top-tier, the restaurant is clean, and the service is excellent. Even though we live in Gidea Park, we are always happy to travel just to enjoy their food. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves fresh, tasty, high-quality burgers and chicken.

1 /5 Jay A-Web: Lost its touch, I’ve been visiting Tz on and off for over 10 years, I’ve learnt my lesson by not ordering delivery, and only collecting. The reviews do not lie in regards to delays, and orders arriving with missing items or completely being wrong to begin. They are starting to really get too big for there boots. £9 for burger and chips with no drink. The manager can call it inflation, but I call it extortion. They are conning money at this point. The qualify is going down hill drastically. Chips were hot but burger was partly warm. Additionally the burger just does not have the same flavour as it use too, it’s like it’s all being rushed, chicken isn’t being marinated anymore and the lack of mayo is a joke. They are rationing down the ingredients to save but are excelling the price for customer. The imbalance is poor. Wont be returning. Would much rather starve in the future than have to deal with the arrogant manger

1 /5 KN Fruitbat: Ordered via their app. It said the delivery would be about 8:30pm. Called but getting no answer. Contacted them and they said it was a problem with their grill it would be there soon, and put the phone down. Order arrived at 10:30pm when kids had gone to bed, driver wouldnt take it back because they had closed. Order wasnt even complete or anything like advertised. Side orders missing, food cold, banoffee pie must have been run over it was so different to menu picture. Contacted them via the chat option in their app. Was told by foodhub that they would deal with it the next day as TZ now shut, next day apparently manager not there, third day apparently not their problem speak to takeaway directly. What is the point of having a chat service that just wastes peoples time? Banoffee pie looks good on their menu, what arrived looked grey, no fruit or anything else, looked like it had been driven over by the delivery driver, not even vaguely similar. Mash stone cold, wedges didnt show up, rest of the food had been cooked at some point but not recently, all cold. After three days of chasing them, the manager gets on the phone and offered me a free portion of wedges (the wedges that I paid for but didnt show up, so not free at all) and 15% off my next order. Mistakes can be made, they regularly are at this place, but order arrives over 2hrs after it was supposed to, not as ordered, cold and not fit for consumption. Insult me with, "we will send you the wedges with your next order" that is not dealing with the issue, that is robbery. Terrible customer service, totally unreliable and rude. Food is actually pretty good when it turns up within normal timeframes, but dont expect to get what you ordered or paid for. Photos of pie prove how badly misleading this place is, manager claims there isnt any difference.
