1 /5 Kevin James: Service was slow. We waited over 25 minutes for the main course to arrive (we had to remind the waitress) and we were ready to leave as we were fed up waiting. The place was not busy at all.
The burger arrived cold because it had been served on freezing cold tomato and lettuce from the fridge. It couldn’t be eaten (see photo of how much was left). I was offered a lame excuse with bad attitude. £18 for a sub-standard cold burger and a bowl of chips was daylight robbery.
And who on earth would crowd a very small table with glasses for water, yet not offer the water, and when this was commented on, the reply was “this is how I do it.”
Any restaurant that values their customers would have discounted the bill or offered something to compensate for the cold burger, but not in this case. And they had the nerve to add a service charge! Add the bad attitude of the waitress, and it was a very bad and overpriced experience on all levels, never to be repeated.
