Via Leone - (Near Surrey, South East)

5 /5 Lee Downton: We visited here for my wifes birthday with family which was a party of 5. On arrival we were greeted by a friendly staff member who guided us to our table which was right by the window looking onto the Lion & Lamb Yard which was lovely. The decor is lovely and makes the place feel cosy and relaxed. We ordered our drinks and our starters and mains, which came out piping hot and in a good time that didnt feel rushed or too long. The food tasted amazing using fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. We stayed after our meal for a few more drinks which we enjoyed outside with a DJ playing "cafe del mar" tunes at another establishment in the Lion & Lamb Yard. I would definitely recommend this place and it wasnt too pricey either......... definitely worth a visit.

5 /5 kimete meshekrani: Last night I was at the restaurant Via Leone, everything was so nice, the restaurant is so cute and cozy in a great location, service was great the waiters always smiling, welcoming and all the time asking if we need anything, the food was so delicious, they have the best bruschetta with the homemade pesto and the meat was so fresh and delicious, I would recommend this restaurant to everyone and definitely we are going back again.

3 /5 Nick Arnold: Such a shame. One of our party doesn’t like eggs, so asked for sausage as a replacement. No problem. So far so good. A pleasant breakfast followed, food was fine, as was the coffee. However, come to pay the bill and additional charge applied for the sausage. When I raised this, I was simply told that they were extra, and when I challenged this, an effective shrug of the shoulders was all I got. I’m kicking myself for not removing the 12.5% service charge. As a minimum we should have been told at the time of ordering. We will go elsewhere in future.

5 /5 Emma Smith: Absolutely beautiful. Ive not eaten such quality authentic Italian food outside of Italy. Lots of choice on the menu and it was very difficult to pick. Everything was full of flavour, fresh, colourful, and presented beautifully. We had the mussels and olives with bread to start - large servings for starters and definitely enough to share - and then a mix of starter sizes and sides as a main course. Dessert (profiteroles) was rich and chocolatey, as it should be. The house white wine was delicious and reasonable at £21. Service was friendly and knowledgeable and we felt really comfortable here. Total bill was under £100 including wine and service and was great value for money as the portions were so generous. This is a real asset to Lion and Lamb Yard and deserves to be fully booked up. 100% would return.
