5 /5 Alice Howard: We came in on Wednesday evening for dinner, have been wanting to visit for ages! The food was amazing, the flavours were so interesting and you could tell a lot of thought had gone into the creation of each dish. The Hake was exquisite! And as for the Newcastle Soda bread with marmite butter… Just wow. All Paired with a lovely Bacchus. It’s so good to see restaurants that source all their ingredients from local suppliers… butchers, fishmongers, greengrocers. You can honestly taste the difference. The chef spent time talking to us about his food, answering our questions, they were both very friendly. We can’t wait for our second visit. Thanks guys.
