5 /5 Canonbury Carpentry: Used to go here used years ago when it was more of a greasy spoon and been here a couple times recently. It’s definitely moved with the times and has lovely relaxed atmosphere inside. On my 2 recent visits I ordered a bacon and egg baguette and a cup of tea, the first time I was given a sausage and egg baguette and the second time the order was correct. Even though the first order was wrong this wasn’t problem for me, especially as both times the food was absolutely delicious, could tell all the ingredients were of a high quality and they toasted the baguette so it had a bit of a crunch to it which for me took the food to another level. Would definitely go back here.

4 /5 Liyana: A chilled out, unpretentious spot for brunch with friendly staff. The menu is a bit limited for vegans but brunch was a decent portion and the fruit was a nice touch. More than one option for vegan sweet treats at the counter was a nice surprise and the cheesecake pleasant (a touch of fruit/sauce would make it even better). Overall a happy choice for a relaxed catch up with friends.
