5 /5 Piyumi Samaraweera: Easily my favourite Sri Lankan place for short eats. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The food is super tasty and fresh five stars all the way.

5 /5 UL FARSAD: I tried the lamb biryani and wattalappam, and both were excellent. The biryani was full of authentic flavor, with perfectly cooked rice and soft, tender lamb pieces. The wattalappam was rich, smooth, and had just the right balance of sweetness. A wonderful meal that I would happily recommend to anyone looking for delicious Sri Lankan food.

5 /5 Anand Karunakaran: We went there just before closing time so there were not much choices left. Nonetheless the owner whipped up a rice dish mixed with chicken and lamb and it was really delicious, spicy and very filling. We were very appreciative of the owners readiness to accommodate us and keep the restaurant open long enough for us to enjoy our food without any pressure even though we were the only ones there even when we arrived.

5 /5 Emma Hub: Absolutely love the food! Always buy rolls, cutlets and bits in when I’m hosting. I do have to cut them in half though, as they’re generous portions. The main meals are also delicious. I had a new Indonesian inspired dish last week, can’t remember the name. My classic order is veggie kothu and devilled chicken. Huge portions, best value takeaway you can get! All cooked fresh and totally delicious. They’re also brilliant and doing large orders fresh with a phone call in advance. My go to in Harrow.

5 /5 Veemi Jhurree: I am basing this review on my tiny border of TWO mutton rolls..which were DELICIOUS according to my husband - and they were still warm when I got home. He absolutely loves mutton rolls, so I got the rolls as a snack for him. The place he used to get them from in Kingsbury, has closed down. Yako staff said the mutton rolls were good and they were not wrong. My husband is ready to come to Yako himself to buy more..including mutton rolls!!!! Service with a smile at Yako too! I told the staff member that I would be back if the mutton rolls were good, so back we will come.
