Take time to read the stories and learn more about the names on the monument before you come and it will be all the more meaningful. There are a few other important monuments all within walking distance including the musicians monument across the street. Be sure to also go to Sea City museum they have some important artifacts and a storyline on display.

5 /5 v_becks: The Engineers’ Memorial is located in a nice park. It’s easy to find as it’s quite large. It’s a beautiful piece dedicated to the workers who, knowing they weren’t going to escape, kept to their posts so as to help others escape. Heroes.

4 /5 Google Lum: Was here a few weeks ago in Southampton for a cruise. It was a nice cool day to walk around to search for memorials related to the Titanic. Its good to remember the heroic crew of the Titanic who remain in their stations.
