I bought two biryanis from this Afghan restaurant in Hanwell, and the experience was appalling. The rice had a foul, rotten smell like it had been cooked five days ago and left out. It was completely inedible. One of the biryanis I had to throw straight into the bin after opening it because it stank so badly. The other one I took back to the restaurant hoping to get a refund.
When I went back, even the staff admitted the rice was smelly and off. But instead of taking responsibility, the manager only refunded me for one and refused to refund the full amount. When I politely asked for the full refund, he became aggressive and started shouting at me. I was so upset and disappointed that I ended up leaving the money and walking out.
This is by far the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Serving spoiled food and then blaming the customer when they return it is completely unacceptable. If I could give zero stars, I would. Avoid this place at all costs it’s not worth your money or your health.
