5 /5 Trevion Washingon: First time here in London and we stopped by this place. It was incredible, it felt like I was in Italy. I’ve never had Brushetta, Napoli pizza, tiramisu or honey comb cheese cake but this place gave me a very good 1st impression. Love to Dino(manager) and the servers it was a good meal!
5 /5 SAMI: Was unsure where to eat and come across this restaurant, pleasantly surprised! Very Welcoming staff and couldn’t ask for better service, very quick and efficient. Would highly recommend the food, all round excellent! And a shout out to Dino who I think is the manager, very welcoming and polite! Would definitely come again :)
5 /5 Juliane Henning: Cant even begin to cherish this place enough! Went there on our second night and came back the next 3 or 4 following days. Every dish we ordered, was magnificant!
A definite gem and the literal best Italian restaurant Ive been to in my entire life!
Felt like family there, will definitely go back there when back in London!
5 /5 Sharon Kaldenbach: We came here for breakfast, then for diner 3 nights in a row. We ate at the restaurant the first night and got take away the other two because we got sick due the weather. Really nice staff and great food highly recommend
Quyen Nguyen I am not a local but I come to
Highgate once a month to get my nails done and I always leave extra time before my appointment to eat soba noodles here. The food is always tasty, wholesome and it’s a great family run spot with all the charms of a small business. I highly recommend for the flavours, the charming service and the set up.
Arif S Been there twice in as many weeks. Lovely food. The meat and chicken were perfectly cooked, the rice was delicately spiced and tasty, and the chips were hot fresh and golden. As an added bonus you can watch the free football on the TVs placed around the area.
Alex Lee Fabulous end to a great mystery tour of the financial district. Yes the beer is quite expensive, but you are in the financial district so dont expect a cheap beer! The pub has an amazing history all the way back to Roman roots (and foundations!) to more recently being a bank. Wonderful charm to the place and nice friendly staff.
hettiecole Fantastic food and even better gluten free food! The waiter and chef were both very knowledgeable in a gluten allergy. I was able to have poppadoms and most curries. Very safe, very yummy and a great atmosphere!
Chris First visit to the Piltdown Man. The food was excellent. Well cooked and presented. The service was also brilliant; nothing was too much trouble. I also really liked the openness of the restaurant area and the pub in general. Plenty of room between tables. Probably great for family celebrations. I/we’ll be back.
