The Blue Room - Lewisham

Nancy Ellis We have never been disappointed by the beautiful food at The Blue Room, by master chef Sonia and her dedicated team. We’ve had evening meals at the blue room and have just today tried the jerk Sunday lunch which went down a storm with our boys and us. Wonderfully presented, generous portions. Highly recommended

Bianca Stratulat We recently had the pleasure of enjoying a delightful brunch at The Huddle. The experience was enhanced by the beautiful sunny weather, allowing us to dine in the charming garden area. From the moment we arrived, the staff were attentive and quick to serve, ensuring all our requests were met with a smile. Their accommodating nature really stood out and contributed to a pleasant dining experience. The food was simply delicious. The first dish featured a beautifully presented plate with what appears to be eggs Benedict served on a crispy base, topped with a generous amount of creamy hollandaise sauce and fresh herbs. The vibrant colors and textures made it as appealing to the eyes as it was to the palate. The second dish was equally impressive, featuring a combination of poached eggs, smoked salmon, avocado, and a waffle. The creamy avocado paired perfectly with the rich, savory salmon and the perfectly cooked poached eggs. It was a harmonious blend of flavors and textures that left us thoroughly satisfied. Considering the quality of the food and the overall experience, we found the price of £35 for brunch for two, including drinks, to be excellent value for money. The dishes were not only delicious but also generously portioned, ensuring we left feeling full and content.

Bhavini Vekaria Like any Indian restaurant the starters were the best. We ordered the kadai paneer, the panipuri, fish (the best dish of the night for me) and potatoes. For mains the chole was delicious. The dal makhani absolutely creamy and the prawn curry was amazing as well. Ras Malai looked deceiving but was delicious and the overall experience was amazing. Absolutely stunning place as well. 8/10

aswathy suresh A Hidden Gem by the Sea! This cafe by the boating pool is such a peaceful spot — perfect for a quiet break. The Seaview is stunning, and the whole place has a calm, relaxing vibe that makes you want to stay longer. The food is fresh, tasty, and clearly made with care. Everything feels local and authentic, from the menu to the friendly staff. A lovely place to unwind with a coffee or meal while soaking in the sea breeze. Highly recommended if youre looking for something away from the usual crowds.

Mark Bull Had a delightful dinner yesterday, one of the best Indian meals I have ever eaten and excellent value for money. The restaurant is clean and spacious, immaculate tables and not cramped together as is often the case. The food was beautifully presented, a perfect balance of spices to deliver a meal that was truly amazing. The side dishes were faultless too and the portions were just right. Coupled with the most attentive and friendly service, we walked away knowing we had just had the perfect meal in beautiful surroundings and this will be our go to Indian restaurant from now without doubt.
