It serves generous portions of a wide range of breakfast options, including the "full English." Fare for lunch includes an array of sandwiches, including burgers and some other hot dishes, all at reasonable prices Coneys Cafe is distinguished by better coffee than usually open found in establishments of this type, as well as by notably friendly service. Stick to the basics, and you will probably be happy. I tried the chicken caesar salad on a recent visit. It was a large portion of generic mixed "salad," grilled chicken strips, and fried strips of bread, reasonably tasty, but not a chicken caesar salad as Ive come to know it.
There is table service, but payment afterwards is at the till inside. Shaded outside seating is also available. Ive visited here when having repair work done at the bike shop a few doors down, and have not yet had a disappointing experience.
