Dermot Griffin Many years since we have been to Elys and it was a big relief, as many department stores have closed, to see that the store is flourishing. The restaurant is excellent, very nice decaf oat latte and a good selection of food.

Crystal Fernandes Super friendly Macy and Frankie served us.. the service was very prompt and the food was on point. If you want to go to a cosy cafe with soulfood and cute dogs going in and out .. this is your place. Shout-out to Macy and Frankie! :)

Willem Lovely pub to visit, owners were really kind and approachable. Something that is sorely missed in most pubs these days! We stayed in our van as we were heading down to the new forest for a nice break, they let us sleep in the car park without any fuss and even gave us a few spots to try on our way down there. Pints were good quality, very fresh and cold! We didn’t have food but the menu itself looked decent. In conclusion a really nice old school pub with charisma and charm, definitely would recommend visiting!!

H D Another terrific meal! We came here in September and had a wonderful lunch, and couldn’t wait to come back with some friends that lived locally and hadn’t been here yet. The food was as great as last time! And Maurizio and his wife are so lovely!!
