Charlotte We love this neighbourhood gem. Proper handmade Italian pasta, traditional as well as unusual dishes - all outstanding! Even their amuse bouches and starters are so thoughtful and flavoursome… Extensive and inspiring wine list. Great for private events and they make very good cocktails, too. We are regulars now and frequently bump into fellow neighbours as well as celebrities…

Hannah Watton Had a great time at Alma! Their full English is always amazing, fluffy yellow eggs, lovely sausages and overall price is insanely good for central London and quite an expensive area (Primrose Hill). We were served by Jina who was lovely and gave us great service. Would definitely come back!

Frazer Bennett What magical mystery these people weave. The smallest of kitchens gives up the largest of flavours. You may find this restaurant quite bijot in size, but I tell you the food, the welcome, and the atmosphere will not disappoint. Try the cocktails, and definitely have the pickles. As for the main courses, well, we are working our way through the entire menu. Chicken was a winner. As was the squash. Will update you further, dear reader, when we return. My final recommendation? This place gets booked up. I recommend you make TWO reservations, a month apart perhaps, because I guarantee you will want to come back!

Tonoya Barua Loved loved loved the menu & the flavours of Taro Sushi & Japanese restaurant , Finchley Road . We enjoyed Everything we ordered from crab stick & tobiko rolls to beef Bibimbaap My fav was the tuna salad, beef Bibimbaap the steamed vegetable dimsum ( unbelievably yummy) . the prawn and vegetable tempura were also very tasty but it lacked seasoning.. I highly recommend going and eating there They are also on Deliveroo .. but I recommend dining in Service was quick & the waiting staff were very helpful.

Nana Molly I recently dined at this restaurant and was impressed. The stir-fried noodles were chewy and flavorful, with a perfect mix of vegetables and beef. The lamb skewers were tender and juicy, with a balanced smoky seasoning. The cowbean with peppers and leeks was another highlight, featuring succulent beef and a refreshing crunch from the vegetables. Overall, the dishes were high quality and well-prepared. SW Cool Had a lovely lunch here with a few friends. The fish was delicious—perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and served over a generous bed of fresh salad. We visited during a special offer, which was a nice bonus. Lunchtime was fairly quiet, so we enjoyed a relaxed meal. We come here every so often, and it never disappoints.
