4 /5 Daniel Chalfon: Erev brings Jewish-Mediterranean cooking to Notting Hill with real flair. The space is stylish without trying too hard — good music, perfect volume, and a warm, buzzy atmosphere. The wine list is a highlight, full of unexpected gems from Georgia, Israel, and Turkey.
The food? Excellent. Every dish bursts with flavor and thought. The only catch is the modern London curse — “small plates to share” that are neither big nor shareable. Great bites, questionable value.
Service is friendly and professional, though a bit too efficient — you get the sense they’d love to reset your table before you’ve finished the last sip of wine.
