Ram Tharshi Celebrated a close friend’s birthday at Virundhu, and what an unforgettable evening it turned out to be! From the moment we arrived, the service was absolutely exceptional. The team went above and beyond to make our private dining experience seamless and special. A particular mention has to go to one incredibly helpful staff member who was so accommodating with all the surprise arrangements. Nothing was too much trouble — he even jumped in to help us blow up balloons for the decorations! That level of care and genuine enthusiasm truly set the tone for the night. The private dining space itself was stunning. The ambient lighting created such a warm and elegant atmosphere, and having full use of the screen, sound system, and comfortable booth seating made the celebration feel both intimate and lively at the same time. It was the perfect setting for a birthday surprise. Now, the food — simply beautiful. Every dish was full of flavour and presented with such care. You could really taste the quality and authenticity in every bite. A lovely touch was the children’s meals being served on traditional banana leaves — it looked so vibrant and visually appealing, and it added to the whole cultural experience. A heartfelt thank you to Sam, the hardworking chef behind the scenes, and the entire team at Virundhu for making the evening so memorable. Your dedication, warmth, and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. It was truly a fantastic experience, and we can’t wait to return!

Every dish was beautifully presented. The service was quick without feeling rushed, and the attention to detail really made the evening special. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for delicious food and great service. I’ll definitely be coming back

Cristina Stone A Pleasant Stay at Hilton Reading I had a very pleasant experience at Hilton Reading. While the hotel is not overly fancy, it’s clean, comfortable, and well-kept — just what you need for a relaxing visit. One of the highlights for me was the outdoor seating area, which was a lovely spot to sit and enjoy some fresh air. It added a nice touch of calm to the overall atmosphere. What really stood out, though, was the service. We were looked after by Ilia, who was genuinely warm, attentive, and professional. He made us feel welcome and ensured everything went smoothly during our visit. It’s always the people who make the biggest difference, and Ilia certainly did. We also had dinner, and we were looked after by Zoltan, who we know from our previous stay and he is always welcoming and friendly and two lovely youngsters Ava and Toby. Overall, it is a nice, down-to-earth hotel with excellent service. Would happily stay again

Eliza Wells Visited last night with a couple friends and we were very impressed! Booked it very last minute so hadn’t had a look at the menu before hand, when we were told the menu is a small plate concept we were surprised as normally not the type of people to share food aha! However the menu was very well put together, not the typical Italian restaurant menu but definitely something for everyone! All the food was delicious, my personal favourite was the suplí! Good drinks selection too. Service was great, very kind and knowledgeable severing staff. The design of the restaurant was beautiful, great lighting, an outstanding bar, plenty of space so didn’t feel on top of one another. Shall definitely be returning and will be recommending to peers! Chelsea Dineen I recently stayed at Premier Inn and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The room was spotless, comfortable, and exactly what you’d expect from Premier Inn. What really stood out, though, was the amazing service from Hayley on the night team. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Hayley was friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making guests feel welcome.
