Hay Barn - (Near Oxfordshire, london)

Colleen Evans Staying in the area with work and called in without a booking; I was immediately impressed with how busy it was for a Wednesday evening, always a good sign of a quality place! I was welcomed warmly and shown to a table. The food was amazing from start to finish and I was made to feel very well looked after. Its a shame I dont actually live nearby otherwise I would certainly be going back there!

Oliver Lethbridge An incredible pub. Food is really excellent, the steak and ale pie & the fish and chips being standouts. Great, friendly service. The outside is perhaps a little unwelcoming (it was hard to tell it was open) but the inside was extremely charming and cosy. If I lived in the area, I’d be eating here regularly.

T Sarris We took a day trip to Charlbury and found this pub. Walking through the doors was magical. The rooms are cozy and there are several fireplaces to keep you warm. The atmosphere was incredible. Instantly we were welcomed by a delightful server (wish I’d gotten his name- I’d give him a shout out) he was darling and kind and attentive. Made us feel welcomed! The food was absolutely amazing and delicious! The rump was so tasty!! This place is definitely worth the trip! Highly recommend! And don’t forget to have the sticky toffee pudding. It was so good!!

Dany was incredibly attentive, friendly and genuinely welcoming — he made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Tomás de Vasconcellos We stayed at The Lamb Inn and had a really great time. It’s exactly what you’d hope for when booking a cozy pub stay. We actually had a minor issue with our room right after we arrived, but the staff were so kind and handled it perfectly. Harry, in particular, that checked us in, was super helpful and available, he got us moved to a new room super fast and with absolutely no fuss. The room itself was great, honestly really good for a pub setup. The breakfast was on the simpler side, but it was pretty good. For what you expect from a traditional pub inn, despite a bit pricey, we feel it’s a 5-star experience. Would definitely recommend it!
