Steve and Sisilia went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable and well looked after, treating us with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care that made us feel like VIP guests throughout the evening. From the moment we arrived, the service from every member of staff was exceptional — attentive, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about making the experience special. Nothing felt rushed, and every interaction added to the enjoyment of the meal. The food choice is excellent, with a thoughtfully curated menu that offers something for everyone without being overwhelming. Each dish was beautifully presented, full of flavour, and clearly made with care. What truly stood out was how fairly priced everything was, especially considering the quality of both the food and the service. And then there was the pistachio soufflé — quite simply unforgettable. It arrived looking like a delicate cloud, light and elegant, and tasted absolutely divine. Perfectly balanced, not too sweet, and melting in the mouth, it was the kind of dessert you keep thinking about long after you’ve left. Mazhar Chaudhary I am visiting Balkh Restaurant since last almost 10 years now. I visited last night with my family and it was same high standard of food and very nice atmosphere. Staff is very friendly and supportive, especially Fareed Bhai was wonderful, running around the restaurant to make things happen on time and perfectly. Truly enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service. My family loved each and everything. I would recommend to visit Balkh once and you will be addicted with the food and the restaurant.
