5 /5 Claudia Glod: Lovely place with really tasty Spanish food! We came in on Sunday night, the place was quite but vary atmospheric, tables are tidy and music quietly playing in the background, just about the perfect volume to listen and having a conversation. We have ordered few small plates and one mane which was the most tender piece of meat I have eaten in a long time. House wine was also quite nice and the overall wine choice was more than satisfactory.

1 /5 Laura Neves: I had the worst experience in London at this restaurant. I made a reservation for Valentines Day and, upon arrival, I was greeted by the manager, who only spoke to us about choosing a table. We ordered wine from a waiter and appetizers from the regular menu. We used the menu they gave us, but the appetizers never arrived and time passed. We called the waiter and asked if he had written down our order, and thats when another waiter came to tell us that we could only order from the special Valentines Day menu, which they hadnt even shown us yet. We had already spent about 40 minutes in the restaurant just having drinks. I asked another waiter if we could order from the regular menu, which had the best options, and he said yes, and once again, we ordered from the regular menu. After a while, he returned to our table saying that only the Valentines Day menu would be accepted. In other words, I ordered twice from a menu they themselves gave us, only to find out later that I could only order from the special menu of the day. The waiter said they werent sure how things were working and that everything was disorganized that day. We then decided to make one last attempt, ordering the daily special menu, which had few options and, according to him, would take another 45 to 50 minutes. In the end, we gave up and asked for the bill. The worst part was after we paid for the drinks and asked to speak to the manager. He had the audacity to look us in the eye and say that he had warned us upon arrival that only the Valentines Day special menu would be available, which was not true. He simply took us to choose a table; he didnt even ask for the name on the reservation, I had to give him mine. I questioned him about how the waiters allowed us to order twice with the regular menu they themselves had given us, if the kitchen wasnt accepting it that day, and he said that the waiters didnt have that information. Just like that! He didnt care at all about what was happening. I was shocked by the lack of professionalism of this manager who, in addition to being rude, doesnt instruct his team on how to provide good customer service. We left extremely frustrated. I wouldnt recommend it to anyone.

3 /5 Daniel Tisoň: I went to this place for the New Years Eve party, but I was quite disappointed. First of all, the communication was difficult from the beginning. There was no option to book your spot for NYE on their website, so I tried to email them and call them a few times with no response. They finally got back to me with a confirmation of my booking when I sent them my last email saying that if I dont hear back, I will go elsewhere. Secondly, the advert promised live music with a DJ and saxophonist, but this was all a lie – the staff were only playing music from speakers all night. After midnight, they turned it up so much that my ears hurt, so I asked the staff to turned it down a little, but they refused. Otherwise there was no other programme or entertainment whatsoever, we even had to do the midnight countdown ourselves. The place generally looks better in some of the photos than in real life, especially the rooftop "garden" which just feels like a shisha bar. It was all covered with a plastic cloth, so no view unfortunately. I booked a table and got sat right by the main door, and since there was someone going in and out all the time, I had a lot of cold wind on me which was very unpleasant, and I had to wear my winter coat all night. We had the set menu pre-booked, and the food arrived very quickly, but the quality wasnt the best. Very basic, cheap ingredients, and the paella was extremely salty. The drinks were quite nice though. I must highlight that the prices were pretty good for London, and I dont think I could get a three-course menu for this price anywhere else on NYE. I also enjoyed the fireworks, which I believe the venue organised themselves because they were very close and the staff even opened the rooftop so we could see them. All in all, I wouldnt come back and dont recommend.

5 /5 Amit Dhuna: Been here a couple of times and really love it! Got the paella and it really filled up my friend and I (both gym goers so generous portions) and service was exceptional. Great atmosphere but the only thing which ruins the whole thing was this big tacky disco ball on the ceiling - kills the entire aesthetic! Will definitely be going again, but a terrace table!

1 /5 Morenike Okesola: This was my first time visiting La Rueda, and I can honestly say it was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I have ever had. What was meant to be a special Valentine’s date night was completely ruined by shockingly poor service and a complete lack of basic customer care. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt disorganised and unwelcoming. The gentleman in the suit walked around actively avoiding eye contact with guests, making it nearly impossible to get anyone’s attention. It genuinely felt as though we were being ignored on purpose. The young lady who served us was polite and clearly trying her best, but she was visibly overwhelmed and unsupported by her team. It was uncomfortable watching her struggle while the male staff members were dismissive and inattentive. The lack of teamwork was obvious. We were ignored multiple times. I even asked another member of staff about the welcome drinks listed on the menu , he confirmed they would be brought over, yet they never arrived. After sitting there for an entire hour, the only thing we had received were our drinks. No food, no updates, no apology. We eventually had to ask for the bill because it became painfully clear nothing else was coming. Even then, the bill did not arrive. My partner had to physically get up and go to the counter to pay, which was embarrassing and frustrating. The only apology we received was from the young lady. None of the other staff members acknowledged the situation or took any accountability. To make matters worse, we were still charged for the drinks despite the overall experience. We also noticed other guests leaving out of frustration, which speaks volumes. It was disappointing, disrespectful, and completely ruined what should have been a special evening. I would not return or recommend this restaurant to anyone. If I could give 0 stars I would.
