Und3ad sk8r Here briefly from the U.S First experience at a fine dining establishment like this. Lee was super attentive and made us feel comfortable even while seated outside the heat lamps and the sun were perfect for the cold weather we aren’t used to enduring. I had pork Shnitzel my daughter had pizza my sister and her husband had red bean curry and roasted chicken everything was exceptional. The food the drinks the atmosphere the service everything was extraordinary. Lee gave us great new spots to try for the evening hopefully we come back soon to take advantage of all his recommendations. 10/10 for everything my expectations were beyond satisfied. Will definitely return.

Melissa Eisner I mean … sure, every pub boasts being the oldest in the UK, but I’m pretty sure this is the real deal. Beyond the history in a historic location, this pub is bomb.com. Great service, great menu. Loved the chicken wings, and the burger was fab! And who doesn’t love a good pint to wash it all down. Highly recommend!!!

Normallah Sandigan The place is really cozy, the staff are friendly and attentive. Liton, one of the staff in this restaurant recommended some nice places to visit, he’s really nice and another guy who took my order, his name is Sunu he is really friendly, joyful and recommended me a really nice soup that I never tried and it was really tasty. Worth the visit.

Harry A Considering the quality and price of the food on offer here, it really should be busier! You’re always met with a smile here, and the service is incredibly prompt. Would recommend, and a much better option than most of the bland chains nearby.

John Downs Dinner for two on a quiet Thursday night. Very good food..the sole exceptional, the cottage pie delicious. The menu had a good mix of interesting dishes..."British" cuisine..in a very good way. Drinks reasonably priced for central London. Very close to Cannon Street station but tucked away off the main road, and below ground. Quirky decor that I found very appealing. Attentive service from staff who know their dishes. Note...not open at weekends...this is in the commercial part of town! Highly recommended for couples, small groups and business meetings (they seemed to have a projector screen discreetly concealed...so maybe good for small group lunchtime meetings).

Lesley McMahon-Hathway The BEST coffee in the City!! Friendly professional service and good old fashioned fresh quality food, always served with a smile. A true hidden gem!! Go for a visit! And best of all.....they sell their own specially roasted blend of coffee beans!!! So you can enjoy that fantastic coffee at home too!!
