Nicolas Povall Visited Popeyes today, and since it’s a fairly new restaurant, the place is absolutely spotless. The interior is kitted out in vibrant colours, giving it a really welcoming feel.
I’m not, however, a fan of the pick-up hatch in the wall — personally I find it a bit odd compared to the layout in places like McDonald’s or KFC, where you can see the kitchen and everything going on.
Presentation-wise, the food is second to none in the takeaway game, and the staff were very friendly. The food itself wasn’t my cup of tea, as I’m not a lover of breadcrumb-and-herb style chicken, but if that’s your thing, you’ll probably really enjoy it.
All in all, it’s a very nicely done restaurant, and worth a visit if you’re into that style of chicken.
