Nicole Bissett Wow! Amazing food and incredible service. The staff were so attentive and lovely and the food was delicious. Best Indian restaurant- we really recommend! Also a huge menu with loads of options.

julian clarke It has taken a long long time to find a pub that serves a Sunday roast worth recommending. At the Fox Inn it was perfect. We hadnt booked so it was a chance we took and it paid off. Next time we go we are definitely booking so we are not Disappointed. We arrived about 20 minutes after it opened and after we sat down it was a steady stream of people arriving. Definitely pre book if you can. The menu was a good mixture but I had the chicken breast roast and we also ordered the lamb roast. The food arrived in about 10 to 15 minutes. The food tasted great. Veg wasnt overcooked and the gravy was just right. Its the closest Ive tried that matched home cooking. Thanks to the staff and we will be returning.

Ge Drew Really great food and service overall. Easy parking and disabled parking nearby too. Arrived on a week day, group of 5 and easily used a voucher we had. Pleasant experience. Only things were just wish it was clearer where to wait or even whether to wait to be seated. No sign saying so. Also it was rather cold where we were sat. Was told the heating was on but radiators were off? Perhaps another customer had fiddled with them but would prefer it to be warmer. Especially with elderly. Very friendly and attentive staff make up for it. Will come back. Delicious triple cooked chips are perfect!

Andy This was the best European tasting menu weve had for a very long time, maybe ever, cant remember enjoying one this much. The flavours of every course were exceptional, the tuna, oyster and smoked venison were favourites but my goodness that treacle bread was out of this world! We enjoyed it so much we went twice on consecutive days. We also tried both wine pairings (signature and prestige) which were again excellent. The signature was more complementary, the prestige more contrasting. I loved the signature, my partner loved the prestige (although we both preferred the red in the prestige). The whole team clearly really care about the food and drink theyre offering and it shows. Thanks Ben, Monika & Chris for two exceptional evenings!

Carly Manville I came for lunch with my husband to watch the football. As someone with allergies, I usually avoid eating out because I often don’t feel supported. However, today was completely different. Vicky was absolutely amazing — she was attentive, caring, and took the time to go through everything I could and couldn’t have. Nothing was too much trouble, and she made me feel completely at ease. When we ordered, she checked again to make sure everything was safe for my allergies, which doesn’t happen often. Vicky truly went above and beyond, and her level of care made the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free. We stayed for drinks and enjoyed the game, and I can’t thank her enough for making me feel so comfortable. Exceptional service.

Jennifer Oflaherty Stopped off after a business meeting, asked if we had a booking, no but no problem sit anywhere we like. Got dogs too, no prob, git a cosy table in front of the fire. Brought drinks over, two friends had the liver dish, I had fish and chips. Friends scoffed theirs, I couldnt eat all mine so offered it up to help. All agreed never had such a nice piece of fish, it was lovely. Beer battered, lovely and fresh, lovely batter, loads of chips and mushy peas, salad and slice of lemon. Absolutely lovely and very large portion. Brought over other drinks and brought a bowl of water for the dogs snd some dog biscuits. Very warm ,inviting and friendly. Will go again.
