1 /5 Douglas McCormick: Came in at 20 past 7, after walking in the rain. 3 members of staff behind the counter, 1 other customer in the restaurant. I took a drink out the cabinet and read the menu. Nothing from any of the staff, all too busy talking to each other, I then approached the till with the drink and to attempt to place my order, all 3 staff did as much as the could to avoid making eye contact, stood for 5 minutes being ignored by the 3 members of staff. All too occupied with trying to close down by the looks of it, 40 minutes before the advertised closing time.Took my business elsewhere. Won’t be back, rude and lazy staff.
EDIT.
The owner had then responded to me suggesting I’ve either made the entire thing up in my head or was at the wrong restaurant.
No, I walked from my hotel, the leonardo round the corner from your restaurant. As state, 3 staff were behind the counter when I entered your premises at 1920, the restaurant was empty apart from 1 deliveroo driver leaving and 1 customer sat in the restaurant. The 3 staff behind the counter completely ignored me as a customer. There was nobody else in the restaurant so no idea what the large order you refer to was, even if that was the case maybe you could train your staff to mention that to a customer that is standing waiting instead of acting like they are not there. The bottle of jarittos I took to the counter must have just floated there.
