Ali G Simply the best. This restaurant has a huge variety of options! Everything from grills to homemade soup of the day, stews, slow cooked traditional dishes, döner kebabs, and so many others I probably haven’t tried yet. Everything I have tried has lived up to my expectations, and I love how your order is grilled in front of you! They are super fast too, once you order and choose any meat from the see through fridge, it is immediately handed to the grill chef and starts cooking! Döner varieties including wraps and döner-on-rice are the best you’ll have in Oxford! Homemade dishes are so good that they run out quickly. A must visit, absolutely worth the price. People who work there are absolute champs they are very kind and always positive despite working loads and being under pressure at all times. (Attached is a takeaway box from Bodrum Restaurant, it has rice and chips underneath the meat, invisible on this angle, salad and sauces are complimentary with every order)

Nathan Hobbs Food was all really nice. I had the pollo fritti for my starter, Pinoli pizza for my main and tiramusu for my pudding. Very good service by the friendly staff. Will definitely come again.

Helen Seward-Porter We use this pub on a regular basis. The service is exceptional and the team members are very attentive. Especially LUCIAN, who is so good at his job and has a smile for every customer. Currently The Griffin is decorated for Christmas and looks very festive and also there is a wonderful real fire burning every day and evening which creates a lovely atmosphere.

Stewart Harvey-Wilson We had the back room. Everyone eat. Am from Trinidad so meeting Sara one of the staff who brought us our food is from Trinidad and honestly the whole experience was wonderful. Ambr Tehseen I got the Keema naan as a starter however it was so tasty and very filling. Definitely not stingy with the keema , the naan itself was so fluffy and fresh. The chicken biryani was a huge portion including a chicken shami kebab, with the side of salad and mint yoghurt sauce. As well as delicious huge chapli kebab.
