Jennifer keane On Friday 19th September, we held the wake for my dads funeral at the Berrylands in Surbiton. From the first point of contact to the end of the event, the manger, Dean, was excellent. He made the whole procedure easy and trouble-free. The food was the perfect amount, served at the perfect time. The staff were exemplary, friendly and efficient. The entire day went off without a hitch. The room was private, with an outdoor seating area included. We were able to play our own music, and set up a table with flowers and photo books for family and friends to view. A room was available where the flowers could be stored overnight and collected the following day. Nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend this venue for any event.

Tim Nicholls Probably the most under-rated restaurant in Worthing. I am not a fan of Indian food normally but this Bangladeshi restaurant is in a league of its own . The food is absolutely delicious, with layers of subtle flavours, and some dishes you cant find elsewhere. Sunday to Wednesday is an all-in menu for just £14.95 with any starter , main dish ( house specialties plus £2.50) and any side dish with rice or Naan bread all included. Amazing value. The staff are on hand to explain or guide. This is truly a hidden gem in Broadwater and why it isnt packed out every night is a mystery. No not flock wall paper but a comfortable modern restaurant well worth a visit

Adarsh Rao We recently stopped by this place and ordered two medium doner kebabs, and we were genuinely impressed. Even though we ordered the medium size, the portion was really generous — more than enough to leave us full and happy. The meat was flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right, while the salad and sauces added the perfect balance without overpowering the taste. You can tell everything is fresh and prepared with care. What really stood out beyond the food was the atmosphere. The place has a warm, welcoming vibe that makes you want to sit down and take your time. It’s clean, cozy, and tastefully decorated — perfect whether youre grabbing a quick bite or planning to hang out for a while. And we absolutely have to mention the owner. Such a sweet and friendly person! From the moment we walked in, we felt genuinely welcomed. You can tell they really care about their customers and take pride in what they do. It’s always a great sign when the person running the place treats you like a guest rather than just another customer. Overall, we had a lovely experience. Great food, lovely environment, and truly kind-hearted service. Highly recommend if youre in the area and craving a good doner! Iris Bamattre Loved this so much we had the pork romesco it was delicious I’ve had the cheeseburger at another branch and I would probably say I’d prefer this if I were to order again but the pork belly was cooked really well and the sandwich was super flavourful. You absolutely need to try the truffle hash browns they were so delicious and they were served with a chipotle mayo and siracha ketchup I preferred the ketchup but both were delicious. I also had the strawberry matcha and it was so yummy and not too sweet. We went around midday on a weekday so it was pretty quiet there is not much seating upstairs but they had additional seating downstairs and we were served relatively quickly. I would definitely come again.
