The Queens Head, Crowmarsh Gifford -

Rating: 4.3 /5
Megan Fairhead We went in for a spontaneous roast on Sunday and we are SO glad we did. We chatted with locals when we were waiting to be seated and the fire was crackling away in the corner- it was the perfect Sunday feeling. The food was absolutely delicious and the portion sizes were perfect! You can tell that Stuart the chef takes pride in his cooking as even the different meats had their own designated gravy - you dont get this often! Overall, we had a lovely afternoon at The Queens Head and Debbie went above and beyond to accommodate us. I would recommend booking to ensure you secure your spot as this little pub is really thriving - thanks for having us!

Sara The chicken cruncher sandwich is REVOLTING they need to take it off the menu this made me physically gag , the sauce tastes like they mixed up everything together and called it a day, AWFUL. Don’t order, I took one bite and that will be my last. What a waste of money and food , I would use this as a torture device , DO NOT ORDER…. Or do if you dare.

Martin Bridge A very smart inn/restaurant with a great view of the river. We stopped here on our Thames Path walk on a rainy day, a little wet and muddy, along with our dog. Only had a quick drink in the lovely bar (traditional oak beam & rustic) and dried ourselves out a little over a pint. The staff were so welcoming and made us feel at home. Many thanks!!

Dan Redfern Wonderful atmosphere and a busy Tuesday night with the locals playing a home darts match, The wonderful landlady made the most delicious Jamaican chicken dish. I had two portions! Having eaten a lot of Jamaican food in the past, though I’m totally English, I rated last night’s meal as the best Jamaican meal I have ever eaten. Spicy, so very tasty with fruity flavours. I will be back, and thank you so very much.
